At Southern Cross Catholic College, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to thrive. Inclusive Education ensures that all young people are supported, challenged and celebrated for their unique gifts.

We provide a coordinated approach to student learning, working closely with families, teachers and support staff to ensure that each child’s needs are met. This includes transition support for students entering new stages of schooling, as well as targeted literacy and learning interventions that build confidence and strengthen essential skills.

Our College also partners with a range of outside specialists, such as Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and other professionals, to provide additional expertise and tailored support. Within the College, specialised staff work alongside classroom teachers to develop strategies and resources that enhance every student’s learning journey.

In addition to supporting students with diverse learning needs, we are committed to nurturing excellence through our High Potential Learners program. Students who demonstrate particular strengths and abilities are identified and extended through enrichment opportunities, encouraging them to achieve their full potential both academically and personally.

At SCCC, inclusion is a commitment. We believe that by embracing the strengths and supporting the challenges of every learner, our students are empowered to Love, Serve and Shine as confident, capable and compassionate individuals.
