Chaplaincy
At Southern Cross Catholic College, our Chaplaincy program is an integral part of our commitment to caring for the whole person. School chaplaincy provides emotional, social and spiritual support to students, staff and the wider College community - regardless of religious affiliation.
Our Chaplain offers pastoral care, walking alongside young people through life’s challenges and joys. This includes providing a listening ear, offering personal and spiritual guidance.
Chaplaincy at SCCC also extends beyond the school gates and assists in the facilitation of social justice initiatives. In partnership with organisations such as Caritas Australia and the St Vincent de Paul Society alongside many others, our chaplain encourages students to engage in outreach and service, embodying our call to Love, Serve and Shine. These experiences of servant leadership reflect our Marian Charism and our College Vision, inspiring students to act with compassion, courage and justice in their everyday lives.
At the heart of Chaplaincy is a simple mission: to ensure that every member of our College feels supported, valued and connected - guided by faith, strengthened by community, and inspired to shine.
